Donate your Box of Joy
This fall our parish will be participating in the Box of Joy ministry, a Christmas gift outreach. By packing Boxes of Joy with toys and other gifts, our families will bless children suffering from extreme poverty by sharing the joy of Christmas and planting seeds of hope through the Gospel. We encourage every family to pack a Box of Joy! Supplies and materials will be available throughout the month of October in the vestibule. Boxes are due by Sunday, November 7th. After Holy Mass on November 7th, we will have a parish "packing party" complete with hot chocolate, cookies, and prayer for children receiving the boxes.

Catholic Charities of KC and St. Joseph Request
Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance Fund (CCEAF) is in need of your aid. The funds collected are used primarily to provide rent, mortgage and utility assistance for individuals and families who are facing eviction, foreclosure or utility shut-off. For reference, related to the escalating need, in the 4th quarter of 2020, the Kansas City office ALONE, they received $1.1M in requests for rent and utility assistance while in July of 2020, they received $138,000 in requests at their Kansas City and St. Joseph offices combined.
